Optos retinal imaging allows your doctor to get a detailed image of your retina, allowing even small changes in your retinal health to be detected.

What Optos Can Detect

• Diabetic Changes: Bleeding and changes to the retina in patients with diabetes
• Retinal Detachment: Tears or detachments that can lead to blindness if not treated promptly
• Optic Nerve Swelling: Can be caused by brain tumors, aneurysms, or increased pressure
• Choroidal Melanoma: A type of cancer that occurs inside the eye
• Macular Degeneration: Early detection of retinal changes
• Hypertensive Retinopathy: Changes related to high blood pressure
